OUR STORY

Kaffa Coffee is a cafe founded by married locals in San Diego, California. Our origins are from East Africa where coffee is a significant part of our culture. In Ethiopia and Eritrea, an invitation to a coffee ceremony is seen as a gesture of friendship or respect, and it is an excellent example of East African gratitude. Our coffee is often lauded for its flavor and excellent preparation, and it is served with plenty of sugar or, even salt, in the countryside. 

We implement those core values to produce flavorsome coffee and a welcoming environment at Kaffa Coffee, located in the heart of North Park.
